A wedding celebration aboard the Catlanza catamaran, Lanzarote.

If your idea of the perfect wedding/vow renewal involves sunshine, sea views, and swapping vows surrounded by your favourite people - then this might just be the answer you've been looking for.
Celebrating your wedding on the Catlanza catamaran isn’t just about having a unique venue. It’s your food, your drinks, your entertainment - all rolled into one unforgettable experience. And the best part? It’s a brilliant day out for all ages (as long as no one gets seasick!).
The Journey Begins in Puerto Calero
Your celebration starts at the stylish and peaceful Puerto Calero Marina. It’s here that you and your guests will board Catlanza, ready for a day that’s anything but ordinary.
Around ten minutes into sailing, the ceremony begins. The captain doesn’t drop anchor but will keep the boat steady and slow as it drifts along the coastline - giving you a beautiful setting and a real sense of freedom as you say your vows out at sea.
Ceremony Details
- Begins 10 minutes into the sail
- Lasts approximately 30 minutes
- Calm sailing along the coastline - no anchor
- Plenty of time for group and romance photos after the ceremony
Once the ceremony wraps up and the formal photos are taken, I (your celebrant) and the photographer are collected by a small boat, leaving you and your guests to relax and celebrate the rest of the journey in full.

Off to Papagayo
The catamaran then heads south towards Papagayo, a secluded cove near Playa Blanca, known for its golden sands and clear waters. This is where the captain finally drops anchor and the fun continues.
Take a dip, go snorkelling, try paddleboarding - or simply stay on deck with a drink in hand, music playing, and your people around you. It’s relaxed, joy-filled, and just the right mix of adventure and ease.
Options to Suit Your Group
- Up to 15 guests: smaller Catlanza catamaran
- 15+ guests: larger Catlanza catamaran
- Standard trip: 4 hours
- Or opt for a 2-hour sunset cruise for something shorter, and perfect for those dreamy golden-hour photos.

It’s All Taken Care Of
One of the biggest advantages of celebrating your wedding on the Catlanza?
Everything’s sorted:
- The venue is your boat
- The catering is onboard
- The drinks are flowing
- And the views… well, they speak for themselves
There’s something incredibly special about "getting married" out on the water. It’s different, it’s personal, and it gives you the space to just be with the people you love.
